A little daily attention while in the shower is all it takes to have summer ready feet. Instructions on giving yourself a pedicure so your pretty feet will be sandal rea

Feet are either beautiful or ugly. Hardly ever do you see feet that are in between. In cold climates, you never know whose feet fall into which category, but come summertime, all secrets are out. Fortunately, all it takes to have beautiful feet is a little care and attention, something I wish those ugly-footers would do now and then.

I've had many a pedicurist agree with me that a few minutes of daily attention in the shower solves the problem of dry skin and cracked heels. Keep a small sturdy brush, preferably with a pumice or other abrasive on the reverse side, in the shower.

When you get to your feet, coat the brush with soap and scrub all surfaces of your feet, then use the scratchy side and saw away at any rough spots. Rinse well, including your tools, and dry. Then rub in some cream or lotion. You do not need a fancy foot cream for this. Just find something you like to use. In under three minutes of daily attention, both feet will be smooth and summer ready.

All that's left are your toenails, and you can easily maintain them on a weekly basis. After a shower when your nails are still soft, push back the cuticle with an orange stick (cheap drugstore buy), clip the nails short, being careful not to overly round the corners, clean under the nail with the orange stick, then file. A buff and clear polish is enough of a finish, but colored polish looks great too.

There. You're done, with minimal effort, and your feet are looking beautiful. Reward yourself with a sexy new pair of sandals!
