Are you running late this morning? Just in a hurry? With these tried and true tips, you can still look fabulous and polished with limited time and minimal effort.

It happens to everyone. Blame it on your alarm not being turned on, or your husband snoring so loudly that you couldn’t hear the alarm. Maybe you just flat out ignored the alarm. The bottom line? You overslept and have 15 minutes to get ready and walk out the door.

Even during a hectic morning, you can still look sleek and polished just by utilizing a few time-saving techniques, all within 15 minutes or less.

After you have washed your face and applied your daily moisturizer, try these steps:

Conceal It

Apply your concealer to problem areas. This step is a necessity to cover any dark circles or blemishes. Try MAC Studio Finish SPF 35. It is lightweight, long-wearing and is so concentrated that a tiny bit will do the trick and hide imperfections.

Powder It

Apply powder all over your face, including your eyelids. Try MAC Studio Fix Powder. It is a powder and foundation combination, so you don’t have to apply a separate foundation. It also contains Silica, which absorbs oils on your skin and Talc, which provides that smooth, matte finish we all love.

Shadow It

Eye shadow is still a must; if your eyes look alive and bright, then so will you. Revlon Color Stay Mineral Eye Shadow in “Smoky Quartz” is a long-wearing shadow. It includes 3 color shades; apply the medium shade to your lid, the lightest shade to your brow bone, and the darkest shade in the crease.

Quick Tip: Use the darkest shade with a pointed tip applicator for your eyeliner. Apply to the top and bottom corners. Apply one quick coat of your favorite mascara.

Brow It

With clear mascara, brush your eyebrows. This will complete your eyes and keep your eyebrows from looking frazzled.

Line It

Line your lips with your favorite, natural lip liner. However, the trick is to also fill in your lips with the liner. This trick is much longer lasting than any lipstick. Dab your lips with a clear lip gloss for shine.

To Blush or Not To Blush

You can give a quick brush to the apples of your cheeks for a bit of color. Or, you can also just grab a lipstick tube; a dab on each cheek; rub it in with your finger and voila!

Sweep It Up

Don’t forget your hair. The easiest solution when you are pressed for time is a clean and neat up-do. Here’s a quick style:

  • Tease your hair at the crown, with you hair parted on one side.
  • Sweep it all back into a low ponytail.
  • Leave a little “bump” at the crown.

With the side part and ponytail sitting lower towards the nape of your neck, you look more pulled together and polished.

Quick Tip: Is your hair looking a little oily? Dab loose powder on your scalp and roots where your hair is parted.

Fabulous, chic and ready to go; all in 15 minutes!
