Carrying around dead skin cells makes you look tired and old. Slough off those cells with a facial scrub for an easy way to get great looking skin at home.

A facial scrub is one of the best treatments you can use on your face. Removing those old dead skin cells regularly helps expose glowing new skin. Sloughing off old skin is called exfoliation, and there are many methods of doing it. A facial scrub that you use at home is one of the easiest and most affordable ways, and something you should incorporate in your regular facial skin care routine.

You can buy a facial scrub for very little money at a drug store. While these are effective, I’ve found that some of the most popular ones have a greasy feeling on my oily skin, but they do still work well. For a tiny bit more, you can buy a natural product at a health food store or in the organic body care section of your grocer. You’ll get a scrub without any greasy residue, and with the bonus of a fabulous scent. As with any beauty product, you can spend a lot or a little. It may be worth it to use something you love even if it costs a lot. You can also make an effective product at home, which is a great option on a tight budget.

Once you have your product, try keeping it in the shower where you’ll remember to use it every day. This can become your morning cleanser so you’re exfoliating and cleaning at once. Extend the scrub to your neck and chest to keep your entire upper body area looking great. Rinse off, follow with toner and moisturizer and you’re on your way to healthy, glowing, youthful-looking lovely skin.
