Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean your beauty regime has to fail. Here are a few easy ways to keep yourself gorgeous.

With the weather getting colder and windier, you might notice some changes in your skin and hair. But don't let this get to you—there are many ways to adjust to the new season, and in fact, they're pretty easy. Check out your list below for your winter beauty regime.

Don't Ditch the Sunscreen

Sure, it's not as sunny outside, but this doesn't mean you should bail on the SPF. Slather on sunscreen before you put on foundation to help decrease your chances of forming wrinkles. (FYI: Both UVA and UVB rays are known to contribute to withered skin!) No time for to put on sunscreen? Then apply a tinted moisturizer.

Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize!

The best way to keep your whole body as smooth as a baby's bottom? Cream away after you get out of the shower or bath.

Take Your Best Step Forward

Your feet might always be covered with socks and fuzzy bunny slippers, but you still need to keep them in shape. Rub a foot scrub on the soles of your feet, rinse them off and rub on moisturizer. The best way to keep your feet soft is by putting on socks after you've moisturized your feet. You'll be shocked at how soft your toes are!

De-Stress and Look Great

An ideal way to de-stress and keep your feet in tip-top shape is with a rosemary mint foot bath. For your at-home recipe (that costs nothing!), check out Lori Nash's article "Homemade Honey Facial & Rosemary Mint Foot Bath" on Suite101.

Helping Hands

With H1Ni announcements always being made, you might be applying alcohol-based hand sanitizers. Unfortunately, alcohol ingredients can contribute to dry skin—that being said, make sure to moisturize your hands before you go to bed and throughout the day.

Bat Your Lashes

Long lashes are perfect for every season. But don't go the funky route with blue or purple shades—stick with black for a smart, classic look.

Get Your Omega-3s

According to Suite101 writer Victoria Anisman-Reiner in her article "10 Natural Beauty and Skin Care Tips," "Foods rich in healthy oils feed your brain, nourish your cells, and heal your skin." So consider eating more avocadoes and fish, which are chock-full of good oils and fats. If you want, you can also talk to a naturopathic doctor about your intake of omega-3s.

Pucker Up

"Keep lips soft and kissable," recommends Tristania Currie, Suite101 writer for the article "Beauty Tips for Stay at Home Moms." The best way to do this is to exfoliate your pucker—take a damp wash cloth or a toothbrush and lightly brush it across your lips. This will help slough away dead skin cells.

Overall, don't let the winter season take over your skin. Remember to moisturize, exfoliate and take care of your skin with a good sunscreen.
