Even if you're not out collecting Halloween candy yourself, it's hard to avoid it this time of year. Candy corn at the bank, cookies at your office, and the bowls of candy you bought for trick or treaters that are sitting right there in your very own kitchen. Temptation overload. It's hard to feel pretty when you gain weight, and Halloween is kick-off time to seasonal weight gain. Remember, it's not just Halloween. You've still got Thanksgiving to face in just a month, plus Christmas and Hanukah right after that. Wear a body-conscious outfit while passing out candy to remind yourself not to indulge. Buy candy you don't like so it won't be a temptation. Keep gum in our mouth when you're going to be around other treats. Plan ahead so you can still wear your kitty suit next year. Happy Halloween!
