Great article, Trevy. I am a toner addict. I have toner for various uses depending on ingredients and there was a period of about a decade where I was working as an outdoor guide, and toner was all I used on my face to clean it (it's hard to pack an entire regime in your pack). I used toner and suncreen and had aloe vera for an aftersun and skin anti-irritant, all in small travel bottles.

I am a bit more sophisticated now...LOL...I have four different toners: one with sea water in a spray bottle for refreshment on the go (in my purse), one for cleansing with antioxidants to fight free radicals, one for oily/hormonal days with tea tree, and one with rosewater and lavendar water to help my moisturizer soak in and provide maximum hydration for face, decolette and neck.
