» Feature Writer Trevy Thomas - Soft Hands

Most women make an effort to keep their hands soft, but what about men? My man has a habit of constantly applying hand cream, and since he works with his hands, I'm grateful. Does your guy think lotion is for girls only?

Hi, Tracy.

First, try a bath every evening. Use a little bath gel or bubbles, add a spoonful of baking soda and a squirt of oil -- you can use bath oil, but even olive oil works great. Soak 10 or 15 minutes and rinse. After a week or two, you should see noticable improvement. Let me know how it goes.

» desertblue - lotions

here is an area where I really let my female side come out to play - I LOVE lotions, creams, oils and scrubs. I have different kinds of lotions for different needs/moods, and lots of creams and body butter for those extra-dry times. I even carry small lotions in my purse. I just can't bear to have dry hands or dry anything. Just call me an addict!
